The Redskins travel to Washington to face the Redskins in week fifteen

The Washington Redskins were a surprise playoff team in 2015, but faltered somewhat in 2016, finishing 8-7-1 and out of the playoffs. They especially struggled down the stretch, closing out the season by losing four of their final six games.

The biggest story in Washington is the future of quarterback Kirk Cousins. It looks like he’ll lead the team into 2017, but beyond that is unknown. His numbers are excellent overall, but he is more solid than spectacular.

The Cardinals beat the Redskins in week thirteen last year by a score of 31-23. David Johnson had 175 total yards and two scores to lead Arizona in the win. Carson Palmer was on his game as well, throwing for 300 yards and three touchdowns.

The Redskins defense allowed too many yards a year ago, and it cost them in the end. The Cardinals could find enough big plays in this one. Arizona 30 – Washington 21
