An Optimist’s View of the 2017 Arizona Cardinals Schedule

The New York Giants come to Arizona to play the Cardinals in their final home game
The New York Giants won the Super Bowl in 2011. Then, for the next four years, they missed the playoffs before finally returning to the postseason last season. They lost in the opening round, but it was an important step for the team.
The Giants were fantastic against the run in 2016, ranking third in rushing yards allowed. They were a little more susceptible against the pass. Offensively, Eli Manning is still running the show, and though he’s capable of winning it all, he does turn the ball over a lot.
The Cardinals and Giants haven’t met since 2014, and New York is definitely in better shape now. David Johnson versus a stout run defense will be a key part of the game.
Carson Palmer could make some plays in this one, against an inconsistent Giants pass defense. The other advantage for the Cardinals is in the run game, as the Giants run offense is among the league’s worst. Arizona 38 – New York 34
