The Arizona Cardinals could have a dream season followed by an amazing playoff run

Adding it all up, the Arizona Cardinals will have completed a perfect 16-0 regular season. They’ll have to repeat wins against some of their regular season opponents, like the Cowboys, Seahawks, and Giants potentially, to make the Super Bowl.

Going undefeated in the regular season means nothing if it doesn’t end with a Super Bowl victory. A difficult schedule should prepare them for that, though, and a season ending 28-24 win over the New England Patriots sounds about right.

That would allow Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald to close out great careers with the one thing they’ve been missing, a championship ring. They’ve both earned that with what they’ve done in their careers.

It’s unlikely, of course, but certainly not impossible. The Miami Dolphins organization did it, and the Patriots nearly pulled it off as well. It’s the Cardinals turn now.
