Russell Wilson

Another season, two more game the Cardinals must hope to not stop Wilson but at least contain him. In 2016, they did a good job on him in Glendale until late in the game.

However in Seattle, Wilson was able to direct his team to comeback and tie the game late in the fourth quarter before the Cardinals won it on a field goal.  Wilson was 29-45 for 350-yards and four touchdowns that Christmas eve afternoon.

He only rushed for 36-yards in that one but he was hampered by injury virtually the entire season. Even a less-than-100 percent Wilson is a dangerous one.

The Cardinals will get Wilson on national television on NBC’s Thursday Night Football in November and again in week 17 with a possible playoff berth or NFC West title on the line.  The playoff berth seems more likely as the division is usually wrapped up by someone by then.
