2. Cardinals vs. Cowboys, Thursday August 3rd

Football is back.  Its the first official NFL preseason game of 2017 campaign and the Cardinals are a participant.  They are there thanks to the induction of former Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  The Cowboys have owner Jerry Jones being inducted.

From a pure NFL fan, this game is definitely for you.  It may not be a game that includes much playing time, if at all, from starters.

What it will be however is a nationally televised game on NBC.  It’s the first game of the preseason schedule.  Fans will be itching to see two teams tackle one another after six months removed from the Super Bowl.

After almost two weeks in camp, both teams will also be looking to finally hit someone other than themselves.  By no means is this a marquee game but it might as well be Christmas for the NFL fan, especially Cardinals and Cowboys fans.
