1. Cardinals at Atlanta Falcons, Saturday August 26th

This will be the fourth preseason game of five for the Cardinals.  It is number three of four for the Falcons.  You will see starters play likely at least a half of football.

This will be the last chance for starters to get significant playing time until week one of the regular season, September 7-11.  The Cardinals open on Sunday September 10th in Detroit.  The Falcons open on the same day in Chicago.

This game will be played in Atlanta’s new Mercedes-Benz stadium.  It will be the first-ever played game in the stadium, meaning the Cardinals will have the honor of being the first road team to play there.

Oh and this game is also against the defending NFC Champion.  So there is that and you should see many of the players that got them to the Super Bowl, including quarterback Matt Ryan.

There will be a lot of fanfare in Atlanta for this one and with the starters getting significant playing time, should rank as the most exciting game of the Cardinals preseason schedule.
