Rookie wide receiver Chad Williams has the talent to make a big impact on the offense

Last season, one of the positions that struggled as a whole was the receiving corps. Larry Fitzgerald was still the focal point, and had big numbers, but isn’t the game-breaker he once was. Behind him, injuries took a toll, and the unit wasn’t as good as it could have been.

In this year’s NFL Draft, the Cardinals used their third round pick on Chad Williams. The Grambling State product has the size and skills to be productive right away. At 6’1″ and 204 pounds, he has great size. He also uses his body well, and knows how to go up and get the ball.

Williams had some off the field issues in college that affected his draft stock. The team, however, felt confident that it wouldn’t be an issue.

On Thursday, Williams will see his first NFL action. He won’t get to play with the normal starting quarterback, but fans will get a peek at what he can do.
