The Good:

Blaine Gabbert and T.J. Logan

Since the day he joined the team in the offseason, fans were either for him or against him.  Many took both sides.

Gabbert started off training camp with a bang, looking great in early practices.  His scrimmage last Saturday he didn’t perform so well.

On Thursday night, Gabbert showed a lot of promise.  The performance was so good, people are now seriously asking themselves if he has enough to take over the backup quarterback spot behind starter Carson Palmer.

He went 11-14 for 185-yards.  He didn’t turn the ball over and even ran in from one-yard for the team’s second touchdown on Thursday night.

He had a live arm and showed some good mobility running away from the Cowboys rush.  He did take two sacks and got away with a fumble that wasn’t a fumble.

The other guy who looked good was running back/kick returner T.J. Logan.  The rookie showed why the Cardinals are high on him.

He carried the ball four times for 24 yards.  He was even more impressive on special teams as the kick returner.  He returned two kicks for 71-yards.  He found some really nice holes.
