Robert Nkemdiche is coming off a strong performance in the Hall of Fame game

Perhaps nobody on the Cardinals came into the 2017 with a bigger chip on his shoulder than Robert Nkemdiche. Once one of the top recruits in the country, and one of the most dominant defensive linemen in college football, his NFL career didn’t start as planned.

Off the field issues caused him to drop in the NFL Draft, and he barely played in his rookie season. Going into year two, he had plenty of motivation, and it showed last week.

In his time in the game, Nkemdiche showed the qualities that made him feared in college. He was quick off the ball, and refused to be blocked. He was in the backfield often, and looked impressive overall. This week, fans would love to have him repeat the performance, and take over one of the defensive end spots.
