Jeremy Ross

Ross has played well in spots.  He caught a couple of nice passes in the preseason game against the Chicago Bears.  Consistency is the issue.

What is also an issue is he could become a victim of a numbers game.  If he loses out on a job in Arizona, it will likely be to Brittan Golden.

Golden has been fast on his feet plus plays well on special teams.  That in itself could make the difference.

At this point, the Cardinals have Larry Fitzgerald, Jaron Brown, John Brown, J.J. Nelson, and Chad Williams who will make this team.  That leaves one spot assuming the Cardinals carry six receivers.

Ross came to the Cardinals late in 2016 and played well then too.  It may come down to the performance this week and even then a gut feeling.

There will be no complaining if the Cardinals keep Ross over Golden.  At this point though, just can’t see it happening.
