J.J Nelson

Nelson ended up with the fourth-most fantasy points for NFL receivers on Sunday.  Not that fantasy should be a huge indicator but in this case, it should be.

That means Nelson racked up some scoring.  He caught five passes for 120-yards, including a 45-yard touchdown.

Nelson came up big in the absence of receiver John Brown.  Brown missed the game on Sunday in Indianapolis.  His status is currently unknown for next Monday night.

Nelson held onto the ball on Sunday.  his touchdown catch was a thing of beauty.  It also came a huge time.

His catch came in double coverage on a great throw by quarterback Carson Palmer.  He maintained focus enough to make the catch a couple of plays after the Cardinals had just converted a third and 20 down 10 points.

Nelson could find himself climbing the depth chart in the coming weeks.  They need consistency from him though.  He has had eight touchdowns in his last eight regular season games, which ties him with Green Bay Packers receiver Jordy Nelson for the best in the NFL over that stretch.
