The Good

Carson Palmer

Despite being under pressure most of the night, you have to hand it to him.  He played well.  He didn’t turn the ball over.  He went 29-48 for 325-yards and two touchdowns.

He had to make quick throws and step up into the pocket often.  He was sacked six times but his quick decision making avoided many more.

Larry Fitzgerald

The 14-year receiver had a great night.  He caught 13 passes for 149-yards and a touchdown.  It is unfortunate that sort of effort goes for naught.  He had eight receptions in the first half alone.

Fitz stepped up big when they needed it the most.  With no John Brown, Fitz did exactly what a number one receiver needed to do.

Hopefully when John Brown returns and J.J Nelson is healthier, the Cardinals won’t need Fitz for 13 receptions.  That is a lot of work even for him.  No other receiver had more than five receptions on Monday night.
