Arizona Cardinals vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Good, bad, ugly

The Ugly
Mistakes
Down 31-0, up 31-0, mistakes in the NFL are still mistakes. Sometimes they can be bad mistakes.
When you are trying to put a team away, you can’t make mistakes and give the other team life. The Cardinals tried hard in doing that on Sunday.
After they were up 31-0, they allowed the Bucs to get back into the game at 31-20. Penalties by Jermaine Gresham didn’t help in trying to put more points on the board after that.

An Adrian Peterson run in the fourth quarter was negated by penalties as well. One was on AP himself. He got a questionable taunting penalty along with a Jaron Brown illegal block penalty.
Then after that Larry Fitzgerald fumbled the ball after the catch and was returned by the Bucs for a touchdown. They added the two-point conversion.
Hopefully the Cardinals will learn to put teams away in the future. For now, they can be thankful they got out of University of Phoenix Stadium with a win.
