Kareem Martin

We’ve been waiting to see how Martin or even if Martin would develop into something more than a serviceable linebacker.  His time may be almost near.

He made one of the best plays of his career and maybe of the season for the Cardinals defense this past Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.  He picked off Rams quarterback Jared Goff for his first road interception of the season.

The pick was Martin’s first in his career, now his fourth in the NFL.  He has started six games this season, most since he joined the team.  The starts have come out of necessity but he’s making the most of them.

He had started only as many as two game prior to this season.  He’s dealt with some injury but mostly sitting behind bigger talent.

His time may be now to take advantage and finally show the potential he has.  Certainly this upcoming training camp Martin has the chance to finally take hold of a consistent starting spot.
