Key injuries

Who isn’t injured for the Cardinals?  Their injury report was very long all week.  Friday’s final report had 16 people on it.

Adrian Peterson has been ruled out for the Cardinals, as have receiver John Brown.  The Cardinals have five players listed as questionable.

Those listed as questionable include defensive tackle Josh Mauro, receiver J.J. Nelson, defensive tackle Corey Peters, cornerback Patrick Peterson, and left tackle Jared Veldheer.  It does appear that Peterson and Veldheer will be able to play for sure.

As for the Titans the only player ruled out so far for Sunday is linebacker Derrick Morgan.  Three other players were listed on Friday’s injury report.

Receiver Rishard Matthews, cornerback Logan Ryan, and Walker.  Their status for Sunday is unknown.

Prediction

The Titans may be 8-4 but like the Jaguars two weeks ago, we don’t know which team will show up?  This seems like another matchup the Cardinals can take advantage of in their own home.

That being said, the Titans didn’t get to 8-4 without some excellent football.  They do reside in a struggling division this season though.

The Cardinals will continue to ride quarterback Blaine Gabbert who struggled early last week against the Rams but rebounded in the second quarter.  The Cardinals run game is also in question once again.

The Cardinals are 8-1 against AFC teams at home in the Bruce Arians era.  Going out on a limb here to predict a Cardinals victory is not too tough, so calling for it is not as tough as the last few weeks have been.
