Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons are on a roll.  They just defeated the Rams in the wild card playoff game and on their way to Philadelphia.  They are only one of two teams on the Cardinals 2018 schedule still in the playoffs.

This game is to be played at the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.  The Cardinals helped the Falcons open that building in the 2017 preseason back in August.

The Cardinals may welcome a new venue however.  They went 1-9 against the Falcons at the Georgia Dome.

The last meeting didn’t go so well for the Cardinals.  The Falcons put a beat down on the Cardinals 38-19 in 2016.  This game will the 20th meeting between the two teams since the Cardinals move to Arizona.

The Falcons should bring the nucleus of their offense in quarterback Matt Ryan, receiver Julio Jones, and running backs Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman. The Cardinals?  A lot to be settled on offense.
