3. Huge day against the San Francisco 49ers – 2015

The Honey Badger was a do it all man this Sunday afternoon in San Francisco.  He piled up some very impressive stats.

Mathieu was all over the place at Levis Stadium in this late November game.  Statistically he couldn’t have been much better,

He had 11 tackles and to go along with an interception.  His interception was returned 15-yards.

He had some of his biggest days ever against the NFC West rivals, one of which may or may not be mentioned later.  While the 49ers were not world beaters, Mathieu still was on top of his game.

The tackle total was the highest he had all season.  He had 10 in another game later on in December.

It was a far cry from the struggles he had in 2014 coming back from his first ACL injury.  He was solid for the Cardinals in 2015.  It didn’t start on this Sunday though.  It started much earlier.
