Chad Williams

After he was drafted in 2017, many Cardinals fans and fans in general thought the team overreached with this third round selection.  His being inactive most weeks seem to validate their opinions.

Whatever it was that kept Williams from seeing the field much last season sure isn’t keeping him away this season.  He had a very good preseason and enters as the number two receiver on the depth chart.

That’s quite a leap from last season, however with the departures of others, that sped up the timeline on Williams.  So far, he has taken that to heart.

The regular season is a different beast though.  He is going to need to show one thing, consistency. He can’t afford to have one good week and one really bad week.

It may happen, but if Williams wants to hold on to the number two spot, he needs to prove he can keep it.  He is such a great interview and all around good guy off the field, all Cardinals fans should be rooting for this young man.
