Josh Bynes

His name once again was being consistently called and for all the right reasons.  By far the biggest play of the day in my estimation was his fumble recovery for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter.  It sealed the game.

Up 14-12, the ball was stripped by linebacker Haason Reddick and Bynes scooped up the ball and ran 23-yards for the score.

Bynes not only had the only defensive score of the day but also had 11 tackles, including a sack.  He also had a pass defensed.  He was a busy man on Sunday.

With the linebackers not providing much spark over the first four weeks, Bynes has been a consistent bright spot in the middle of the defense.  Sunday was his best day yet as a Cardinals linebacker and the team needed every minute of his performance.

Bynes will need more help eventually as he can’t always be the one man wrecking crew.  For Sunday however, it worked.
