Chandler Jones

All this talk about getting the offense moving with its stars again and the defense gets ignored for a moment.  Let’s not forget the defense, especially with Jones on the defensive line.

Jones was a huge factor in their win over the 49ers three weeks ago.  He had six tackles but also had a sack, a forced fumble, and a recovered fumble in the game.

He put pressure on 49ers quarterback C.J Beathard and the 49ers offensive line all afternoon.  His forced fumble came on his sack.  Linebacker Josh Bynes picked up the fumble and returned it for a touchdown.

Yes, they need to do better against the run but if Jones can keep up the same pressure he did in the bay area then he will create mistakes for Beathard.  He can’t do it on his own but Jones has earned every penny of his paycheck so far this season, so why stop now?
