Prediction

Sometimes I will go out on a limb and go against the grain.  The Cardinals have Josh Rosen now and he’s coming off a hot finish.

The Chiefs are not the 49ers though, no matter what numbers may look like in the box score when it comes to defense.  Oh yeah, and there’s that high-powered Chiefs offense again.

The question is can the Cardinals keep it within three touchdowns?  At the rate the Chiefs can score in short stints, it is not likely, especially at Arrowhead.

Surely I would love to be so off on this prediction.  Nothing would make me or any other Cardinals fan happier than a victory.

A close game certainly would be fun and make us glued to our television sets for the entire three hours.  In the NFL, close doesn’t get you anywhere in the standings but just another loss.

How the Cardinals come out and at least give effort will say a lot about the character of the team and just how they feel about things right now.  They could easily come out like they did against the Denver Broncos, and that game was at home.

Next. Sam Bradford never had a chance with the Cardinals. dark

So, in the end, this likely won’t be close.  The Chiefs roll 48-17.
