Injuries/Prediction

The Cardinals as usual, have a number of injuries.  Already 16 players on injured reserve, hopefully they don’t add more major injuries on Sunday.

Tight end Ricky Seals-Jones may have played his last snap in Arizona.  He has been ruled out with a shoulder injury.  He has had a disappointing season to say the least.

They are also hurting at defensive end.  Both Markus Golden, who missed last week’s home finale against the Los Angeles Rams, and Benson Mayowa are listed as questionable for the game.

The other six players who were listed on this week’s injury report participated fully in practice on Friday and are expected to play.  That includes safety Budda Baker and linebacker Deone Bucannon.

The Seahawks are a little more banged up this week headed into this contest.  They have officially listed five players as questionable, including guard D.J. Fluker and running back Rashard Penny.  Guard J.R. Sweezy has been listed as doubtful, so look for him to be inactive.

As far as a prediction?  A 38-7 prediction was thrown at 12th Man Rising, the Seattle Seahawks FanSided site, in an interview this week.  I will stick by it.

There is nothing indicating anything spectacular may happen this week.  It will be the same Cardinals.  They will look good on their first drive or two, then they will put it in neutral the rest of the game.

Next. Cardinals vs Seahawks: 5 questions. dark

It will all depend on who the Seahawks decide to play on the field and for how long.  Even then, the Cardinals have struggled with starters and backups on the field for the opposition all season, so expect another ‘L’ for the Cardinals.
