Pray

I’ve felt this never hurts.  It may not always pay off but it never hurts.  This team will need a miracle to get to Super Bowl 54.

It may take a smaller miracle to make the playoffs and even a minor miracle to get a .500 or winning record in 2019.  The schedule could have a lot to do with it as well.

The Cardinals will play cold weather teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, and potentially the Carolina Panthers at home.  However they do have to travel to the Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens, and New York Giants.

The time of season they schedule those games will be crucial in whether the Cardinals can succeed and have a chance at winning in those cities.  It would also seem the tougher opponents are at home next season, although the thought of going on the road and facing the New Orleans Saints does not sound like much fun.

dark. Next. A look back at the Arizona Cardinals and Super Bowl 43

It will take more than a smile to get back to the playoffs anytime soon but then again, the 2008 Arizona Cardinals made it to the Super Bowl at 9-7.  You just never know how things are going to play out from year to year, so why not dream?  It’s free.
