Total Yards

Total yards ties into pretty much every offensive category.  Arizona was number 32 in offense in the NFL in 2018.  They finished with 3,865-yards total.

The next closest team to that mark was again the Dolphins.  They gained 4,638-yards, almost 800 more yards than the Cardinals.  That is how bad the Cardinals offense was last year.

The Kansas City Chiefs finished with 6,810-yards, first in the NFL.  Again, don’t expect that kind of production but maybe meeting halfway is a good goal to set for the 2019 season.

The Cardinals had 2,523-yards passing, an average of 157.7-yards per game.  Both were last.  Their rushing game wasn’t any better.  They finished dead last there as well, rushing for 1,342-yards, just 83.9-yards per game.

This is a big reason why Kilff Kingsbury was brought in.  They needed a huge jump start on offense.  That all ties into scoring more. Speaking of scoring….
