Week 13: December 1 vs. Los Angeles Rams

TV: FOX 2:05 PM

The Rams have certainly had the Cardinals number as of late.  This will be a true test to see just how much of a gap the Cardinals have closed.

Last time: The Rams defeated the Cardinals 31-9 in Glendale

Key matchups: Kyler Murray against one of the more formidable defenses in the NFL will likely tell the story on this afternoon.  The Cardinals may have to try some tricks, much like what they tried last December when receiver Larry Fitzgerald threw a touchdown to David Johnson.

Next. Arizona Cardinals: Week 5-8 predictions. dark

Prediction: Rams 30 Cardinals 14

Certainly there is hope for the future but the Cardinals just aren’t there yet.  They might close the gap a little on the scoreboard but it may be another year before the Cardinals can find a way to beat the Rams again, despite the Cardinals coming off their bye week.

Any Given Sunday is the old motto.  While we can’t fully rule out a surprise, expect this to be a warm up to a much closer game in Los Angeles later in December.
