. Jacksonville Jaguars. 22. team. 52. . 0-1

The Jacksonville Jaguars did not have a good Sunday.  They lost their starting quarterback Nick Foles for an indefinite amount of time.  They turned to rookie Gardner Minshew and he did not disappoint.

The game was already headed downhill fast for the Jaguars when Foles went down.  Despite the last Foles play being a touchdown pass, it was never going to be enough to catch up to a very good Kansas City Chiefs team.

Back to Minshew though, he went 22-25 for 275-yards and two touchdowns.  He did throw one interception.  Still it should give the Jaguars hope going forward.

The Jags will need to resolve their backup quarterback though until Foles is better.  Also giving running back Leonard Fournette just 13 carries won’t cut it.

Week 2 brings the Jaguars to Texas to face the Houston Texans, who lost on a last second field goal on Monday night.  A loss this Sunday will not be as devastating as it could be for other teams headed for 0-2 on Sunday.
