Kyler Murray finds himself right in the middle of the sports figures ranking

Not only has Murray found himself at 16th among sports figures, he was placed higher than some other very prominent athletes.  Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr. came in at 17 right behind Murray.

Houston Rockets forward James Harden finished number 22.  John Cena ranked 26th and Rhonda Rousey ranked 30th.  Both have also dabbled into acting now as well.

Murray was also the only one with Arizona ties to rank in the FanSided 250.  That in itself does not come as a real surprise.

If Murray continues to grow as a top tier quarterback in the NFL, he should expect to even finish higher in the near future.  For now, 16 in sports figures and 79 overall seems like an excellent start, especially for someone who plays for the Cardinals.

So that leads to the question, what does everyone else think about Murray’s ranking?  Is this as high as he will get?  Can he get higher in the near future?

Should Murray even be ranked at all given the team he plays for?  He certainly can make himself better but he already makes others around him better.

It’s a great debate we can have now and until the next ranking in December 2020.  Hopefully in 2020 Murray can have some company from others with ties to the Cardinals and others with ties to Arizona, in and out of sports.

Where would you have ranked Murray?  Please let us know.  For now, we should consider ourselves thankful the quarterback position seems to be solidified for the Cardinals.
