Week 17: Sunday January 3rd

at Seattle Seahawks

The annual end of season or near end of season game in Seattle.  There should be no reason not to schedule this game in week 16 or 17 once again.  The Cardinals have won 4 of the last 5 games in Seattle.

The only loss in that mix was a last-second Seahawks field goal in 2018 to beat the Cardinals 27-24.  The 2019 Cardinals came in here and had their best game of the season hands-down.  They defeated the Seahawks 27-13.

Both teams suffered injuries in this one.  The Seahawks lost 2 running backs to injury and the Cardinals lost their starting quarterback in Murray to a hamstring.

Still, the Cardinals managed to take control of the game after falling down 7-0 quickly.  It was all Cardinals after that, well, mostly Cardinals anyway.

Next. Super Bowl title still the goal for Fitz. dark

This game could have playoff implications and could go either way if there’s something in it for the 49ers.  If judging by history, there could be something in it for them such as a spot or just playoff positioning.
