Khalid Kareem, DE, Notre Dame

The Cardinals will likely pay a lot of attention to defensive ends and edge rushers at the Combine.  Kareem we can hope is one of them.

He can get to the quarterback.  He had 13 sacks in three seasons at Notre dame, including 5.5 sacks in 2019 alone in 13 games played.

His biggest game in 2019 came against a tough Virginia Cavaliers team, grabbing 2.5 sacks in their victory.  He had a season-high 7 tackles against Southern California.

He also finds himself around the ball often.  He lead the Fighting Irish with 3 forced fumbles in 2019, had 8 for his college career in South Bend.  He also recovered one of those fumbles last season.

At 6’4, 265 lbs, the Cardinals should do their homework on him.  He isn’t the biggest name among defensive ends but one worth taking a long look at.  Plus can you go wrong with someone that has big game experience like he does?
