5. How does Patrick Peterson perform following an up and down 2019?

If the Cardinals are to have any kind of success this season, Patrick Peterson needs to play at a high level. He came out of the gate slowly last season after missing the first six games due to a PED suspension, and it didn’t seem as though he had gotten himself into game shape.

By around week 11, he stepped it up a bit and the Cardinal defense started to at least perform somewhat averagely. But average isn’t what eight-time pro bowler Pat P is used to, and he’s been vocal about returning to All-Pro form in 2020, calling it a “revenge szn” on Instagram.

"“I feel like he’s been – and still is – one of the best defensive backs in the NFL. In his Instagram posts, he looks very motivated. He’s excited. The look in his eyes — he has a different look in his eyes.” – Chandler Jones in an interview with Jim Trotter on NFL.com"

A locked in Peterson would be huge for the Cardinals. To be able to take away an opposing teams best receiving threat without using a double team creates loads of flexibility for a defensive coordinator.
