Key Injuries:

Arizona: The Cardinals will be without linebacker Devon Kennard for the second straight week.  They could also be without defensive lineman Jordan Phillips. He is out with an illness and did not practice this week.  He is officially listed as questionable.

New York: Quarterback Sam Darnold is officially out.  Offensive lineman Mekhi Becton and receiver Breshad Perriman did not practice this week and are both questionable.

Prediction

Despite what it says on paper, this game figures to be much closer than it should be.  The Cardinals, after starting 2-0, looked pretty bad on the field last Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.

The New York Jets last week lost in a dogfight with the Denver Broncos.  If the Cardinals show up on Sunday like they did last week, the Jets legitimately have a shot at winning.

However, expect the Cardinals to come out with a better fight on Sunday.  It will be a close one.  We’ll predict a 24-16 Cardinals victory but it could even be closer than that.
