at New York Giants
Not a single game in the NFL comes easy, but if there is one remaining game on the schedule the Cardinals have no excuse to take, it comes against the New York Giants. The team is injury-riddled and their starting quarterback, Daniel Jones, has been a turnover machine since entering the league in 2019.
Through nine games, the Giants have scored a meager 168 points and have allowed 219. Over their last 25 games, they’re 4-0 against the Washington Football Team, and 2-19 against the rest of the NFL. Their centerpiece, Saquon Barkley, landed on IR with a torn ACL and they have a head coach in Joe Judge who appears to be totally overwhelmed by the mental demands of being a head coach in the NFL.
This is a team where the Cardinals must build an early lead with a few big plays. Their defense must stay aggressive all game to prevent a potential second-half comeback. But given the Cardinals inconsistency against bad football teams in 2020, let’s not assume this one to be an automatic W just yet.
