Arizona Cardinals 2020: Team awards

Team MVP
The candidates are Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, and Budda Baker. I think this award was made clear on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.
Murray is the clear winner here. Sure Hopkins had a phenomenal season but this team can win without Hopkins, albeit more difficult.
Murray is what makes the Cardinals engine run. Some people were suggesting early on that Murray should be replaced.
Then mid season his name started to be thrown around for league MVP. That quickly died down after the Cardinals struggled for a five week stretch from mid-November to mid-December.
The Cardinals finished 8-8 and should have won a few more games. However even at .500, it is hard to see them even finishing at that mark without Murray.
Murray’s arm and legs are what propelled the Cardinals, made the engine run. This was made no more evident than in Hail Mary win over the Buffalo Bills in November.
This team certainly has the potential to be special but there a lot of changes that need to be made. One of them, despite what some fans have been calling for this past week, is not quarterback.
Next. Some possible backup quarterbacks to ponder. dark
Murray will continue to improve. He needs more help around him however there is no doubt the Cardinals wouldn’t be even at this point without him.
