Christian Kirk

Keim missed with Williams in 2017 so he tried again with Kirk in 2018. The Texas A&M product boasted an outstanding career at the collegiate level, recording 234 receptions, 2,856 yards, and 26 touchdowns. A possession receiver, it’s clear Keim went a different direction in drafting Kirk, perhaps citing possession as opposed to speed.

And while Kirk hasn’t quite lived up to his status as a 47th overall pick, he has at least remained serviceable, having logged 159 career receptions for 1,920 yards, and 12 touchdowns. Kirk is inconsistent, but he had a fairly decent 2020 campaign.

While his reception total dropped from 68 to 48, he hauled in 6 touchdowns, averaged 2.5 more yards per reception than he did in 2019 at 12.9, and 62.5 percent of his catches went for first downs. Some of us have panned Kirk while others have praised him. Let’s just agree that he’s a pivotal part of the team.

Grade: C+ – Kirk hasn’t lived up to his draft status. But we can’t write him off as a disappointment given his fairly decent production.
