Isaiah Simmons

For a second, it appeared Simmons was headed straight to the muck pile. Over the first six weeks of 2020, Simmons looked like the biggest bust taken in the first round, next to former Tennessee Titan, Isaiah Wilson.

However, the turning point came when Simmons picked off Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson on his fifth snap in overtime. The rest is history, and Simmons ended up with a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team.

While it appears to be premature to list Simmons here after he played well for half a season, the question remains: Who else is there? A series of bad drafts over the years has prompted our #5 spot to go to a young player who showed flashes of his potential in 2020.

Our #4 player is hardly any different. Despite his own flashes, #4 has yet to materialize into the second-round pick the Cardinals thought they were getting.
