Number 1 in the top 10 Arizona Cardinals draft picks from the last decade: Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma

If there was any other player destined to be number 1 on this countdown, it’s the man who wears the number himself. Kyler Murray, the gutsy 1st overall pick from the 2019 draft has made a quicker and bigger impact on the team than anyone else has. Murray had the spotlight on him after taking over for Josh “nine mistakes ahead of me” Rosen. He earned rookie of the year honors, a feat that only Simeon Rice and Anquan Boldin had done before.

His grade from PFF skyrocketed from 64.2 his rookie year to a solid 82.8 to cap his first Pro Bowl nod in 2020. With DeAndre Hopkins by his side, the Hail Murray happened and went down in team and league history. Murray continues to put defenders on skates with lightning lateral moves and lethal acceleration that makes Kliff Kingsbury’s offense that much more dynamic.
