Philadelphia Eagles

Despite the Philadelphia Eagles finishing last season with the third-most sacks in the NFL, a team can never have enough pass rushers.

Chandler Jones could add to the Eagles’ depth on the defensive side of the ball. His addition could help prevent Philadelphia’s pass defense from ranking in the middle of the pack this season. In a division like the NFC East where the Washington Football Team is only so much better than everyone else, a trade like this could be a division-winning trade.

The Cardinals haven’t had a tight end that’s done something significant in my entire life (and many of the younger fans can say the same). Arizona desperately needs a receiving tight end to help the offense grow.

Zach Ertz flying up the seam while DeAndre Hopkins and crew are running sharp routes will only diversify the Cardinals’ offensive attack, making this team harder to predict. Just imagine what Ertz could do in the red zone with Arizona quarterback Kyler Muray throwing him the ball.

This could be done in a rare player-for-player format, with both sides getting rid of their disgruntled star. While this trade would put the Eagles over the salary cap limit, if they are desperate enough to get rid of Ertz, they could figure out a way to make this happen.
