3 Bold Predictions: Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams – Week 14
By Sion Fawkes
Hopkins scores twice and gains over 100 yards
Besides Murray, DeAndre Hopkins made his presence known against the Chicago Bears. Early in the first quarter, Hopkins made an incredible touchdown catch the officials initially waved off as incomplete. Hopkins had only two catches in the game, but he will play a larger role against one of the league’s best defensive backs in Jalen Ramsey.
Given his rather limited playing time in his previous two outings and multiple playmakers on offense, Hopkins has yet to record 100 receiving yards or multiple touchdowns in 2021. That will change on Monday night, as Murray will defy logic and target him often. By the end of the game, Hopkins will have won the battle over Ramsey, having simultaneously recorded his best game of the season.
Since the Cardinals have a plethora of players who can produce, it will force the Rams to key on guys like Zach Ertz, James Conner, and Rondale Moore. This will open things up downfield for Hopkins. And he will take advantage.
