Arizona’s pass rush vs. Detroit’s offensive line

The Cardinals’ pass rush is one of the league’s best, ranking sixth in the league with 35 sacks and seventh in sack percentage, at 7.3. They’re also 12th in the NFL in pressure percentage at 25.7. In 13 games, their 35 sacks average to 2.69 per contest. And the pass rush shows no signs of slowing down as they surge into the season’s final month.

On the flip side, the Lions have struggled to protect their quarterbacks all year. Jared Goff has remained in the driver’s seat most of the time, and teams have ravaged him for 32 sacks. His sack percentage of 6.8 is a career-high besides his rookie season when he posted an 11.3 sack percentage.

Coupled with the Lions’ inability to protect Goff, the Cardinals should feast on Goff all afternoon under the roof at Ford Field. Expect the Cardinals to log at least three, if not more, sacks on Goff as they take care of business en route to their first postseason berth in over a half-decade.
