Arizona’s road scoring differential

Against playoff teams on the road this season, the Cardinals finished with a combined score of 131-72. Yeah, they nearly doubled their point total against 2021 playoff teams on the road.

The teams in question were the Titans, Rams, 49ers, and Cowboys. Even against playoff teams at home, the Cardinals still finished with a respectable 61-64 point differential – Packers, 49ers, Rams.

Not only have the Cardinals beaten playoff teams on the road this season, but they also beat three of them by two or more scores. Once again, it’s foolish for pundits to rule out the Cardinals for sputtering down the stretch. No, they didn’t play their best football, and they also bottomed out on the road against the Lions.

But they’ve also played their best football, not just on the road against playoff teams, but at home too. The Cardinals also lost two games to playoff teams (both at home) in 2021 by a combined score of 10 points.
