Home/road win-loss record

The Cardinals finished 8-1 on the road this season and they finished 4-0 against playoff teams in games outside State Farm Stadium. But to have more fun, the Rams finished 1-3 against playoff teams at home and 5-3 overall.

It’s a “favorable matchup” no one’s talking about, but recent history favors the Cardinals in this one before either team steps onto the field. The Cardinals also nearly doubled their points total on the road against opponents who made the playoffs. The Rams scored a perfect 4-0 record at home against non-playoff teams, and as you can see from the above data, struggled against playoff-bound competition.

While anything can occur on any given Monday, overall home-loss record on the road versus the Rams’ home-loss record against playoff teams at home favors the Cardinals. As mentioned in the earlier slide, the Cardinals have already shown they can march into LA and beat the Rams.
