Looking back at the Arizona Cardinals Hall of Fame Game appearances
Arizona Cardinals latest HOF game appearance resulted in their third-straight loss
The Cards were back in the first game of the NFL season after a few successful seasons and a NFC West Division title in 2015. This would be the team’s final year with Carson Palmer and Tyrann Mathieu.
Cardinals QB Blaine Gabbert got the team out a 15-7 lead, completing his first seven passes of the game and led two scoring drives. But that would be all the magic the team would have, as Dallas’ Cooper Rush “rushed” the Cowboys to victory in a 20-18 victory.
Thus, the Cardinals HOF game record rests at a weird 1-3-1. The Cardinals are tied for the second-most appearances in the game with a slew of other teams. Only the Cowboys and Steelers have more appearances with seven times each.
Enjoy the game tonight between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Las Vegas Raiders.
