The Arizona Cardinals Group Of Running Backs Could Be Special

The Cardinals have an impressive RB group with 2-time Pro Bowler James Conner, former Kansas City Chiefs back up Darrell Williams and rookie Keontay Ingram.

Conner gives maximum effort from start to finish and finished tied for 2nd with the 2nd most rushing TD’s in the NFL last season. He is a RB with power who can run through arm tackles, catch out of the backfield and can even make key blocks out on the edge.

Williams should serve as a solid backup as he is capable of grinding out tough yards in short yardage situations. He hits the hole hard and while he doesn’t quite have that home run ability, he can grind out tough yards and get1st downs.

Ingram is another option in the backfield Kingsbury can use. His stride and build up speed is incredible. He’s a decisive runner who always seems to make that first defender miss. He also catches the ball well out of the backfield and gets good yardage after contact.

Eno Benjamin appears to be the odd man out but I wouldn’t give up on him. He is an enormous talent and he is too good of a football player for Kingsbury not to find a role for him.
