Warner Named FedEx Air Player of the Week

For the second time in the past three weeks, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner was voted by the fans as the NFL’s FedEx Air player of the week. After throwing for 395 yards and 1 touchdown in Seattle, you had to think he would at least be nominated. Well deserved. Sure he had one pick, but it was his first one in three games, giving him only seven on the season so far.
This week’s opponent, the New York Giants, will have to try really hard to give up that much in the air to Warner. If there is one quarterback I believe in this league this season that can do it though, it’s Warner.
I’m looking forward to the matchup on Sunday. God knows we probably won’t get far with the run.
