Two Games You Shouldn’t Miss This Week On TV

Ok, I know, it’s the preseason, but it’s the NFL people!

There are seven games this weekend on national television – five on the NFL Network (who will be showing local feeds), and two on ESPN.

The first game you shouldn’t miss this weekend is your Arizona Cardinals going to Pittsburgh to play the Steelers on ESPN, Thursday night.  Sure, it’s not the Super Bowl, but you know, it’s still a good match up, even if the starters are only going to play a couple of series.  So, tune in early or you will miss the best action. Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzgerald, and Anquan Boldin all will play, but not for long.  It’s looking like running back Beanie Wells will sit this one out.

The second game you shouldn’t miss is the third game of the NFL Network triple-header with the Seattle Seahawks going down to San Diego to face the Chargers on Saturday night.  This is the first chance for Seahawk fans to see T.J. Houshmandzadah in game action.  Again, as a starter, he won’t be seeing much action, so catch him early at 7pm Saturday night.  It’s also a great chance for Cardinals fans to see the Seahawks lose.

The other games on TV this weekend are Atlanta at Detroit (snooze), and Chicago at Buffalo (Jay Cutler’s debut with Chicago) on the NFL Network on Saturday and then Monday Night Football on ESPN with the Carolina Panthers facing the New York Giants, which normally would have been a must see, but it’s preseason, we need to catch other action, especially when it involves a divisional opponent while they are still undefeated for the regular season.

Go Cards!
