Cardinals Bring Road Show Home to Face Seahawks

As we all know it’s been the Arizona Cardinals Road Show so far this season. The Cards only have one home win this season. They’ve been on the wrong end of two blowouts against Indianapolis and Carolina. They had a close loss to open the season against San Francisco. They managed to pull out a win against Houston, albeit after allowing Houston to come back from 21 down at halftime to tie the game.

I’m not sure what it is. Is it the comforts of being at home? Does the stress and pressure of a road game actually help the Cardinals? Whatever it is, they need to fix it on Sunday as they face their division rival Seattle Seahawks, a team the Cardinals defeated in Seattle 27-3 on October 18th.

The Cardinals will be without Chike Okeafor tomorrow, however it appears Anquan Boldin won’t have to worry about any inactive decisions. He is expected to play. The Seahawks still are riddled with injury, but do appear to be in a little better shape than the last time. One player you won’t see is former Arizona Cardinals running back Edgerrin James. He was released a couple of weeks ago by Seattle.

If the Cardinals expect to get anywhere this season, they need to start winning at home and now.  With the San Francisco 49ers defeating Chicago on Thursday night, a loss puts the Niners only one game back.  A win keeps the Cards two games up.  Cardinals should get the job done, although I don’t expect it to be pretty at times.
