Pro Bowl Rosters Announced

The Arizona Cardinals got only four players into the 2010 Pro Bowl in Miami.  We already knew about Larry Fitzgerald and Darnell Dockett.  Joining them are Adrian Wilson and Dominque Rodgers- Cromartie.

You can’t argue against any of the four players.  I am quite disappointed that Andy Lee got the punter selection over Ben Graham.  What else could Graham do?  I guess it’s all about the numbers.  What players, coaches, and fans missed I guess was his uncanny ability to consistently punt the ball deep, inside the 10 yardline.  I have to say in all the years of Cards getting in or not getting in, this one for me is the most controversial.

I am also a little disappointed in Kurt Warner not getting in.  I think he could have received the nod over Aaron Rodgers.  Congrats though to Rodgers-Cromartie on getting his first Pro Bowl nod in only his second season in the NFL!

What I will say is this, none of them will be playing anyways, as they will be preparing for Super Bowl 44 in Miami a week later!

Go Cards!

Why would Warner go instead of Rodgers?!?! Warner’s completion percentage is 2.2% better than Rodgers. That’s the “for arguement”.

Rodgers has more passing yards, three more TDs, seven less INTs, and thus a better QB rating. Warner has more fumbles and he’s lost more fumbles. Not to mention the fact that Rodgers has rushed for over 300 yards, four TDs, and 23 first downs. And I don’t love to admit it, but Fitzgerald/Boldin/Breaston are more talented than Driver/Jennings/Jones. Rodgers has as many wins this year in a tougher division.

But yeah, Warner has a higher completion percentage so he should have gone instead of Rodgers.

    For real…

I really wish Romo would have gone over Rodgers but… Rodgers earned it.

You know he earned it because the same people who voted in Favre didn’t vote in Rodgers.

But Warner? Not even close. Insanely talented receiver corps and he’s had some REALLY bad games. Rodgers has been solid, and I hate him for it.
