March Madness, Arizona Cardinals Style

With March Madness right around the corner, I thought it would be a good idea to see who you think is the best Arizona Cardinals player since 1988 when the franchise moved to the desert.  I am going to start with the quarterback regional, followed by the wide receiver/running back/tight end regional, then the defense regional, then finally the special teams/offensive line regional.  Your votes will determine the winners.

So, starting with the #1 seed vs #16 seed matchups:

#1 Kurt Warner vs. # 16 Tom Tupa

#1 Larry Fitzgerald vs. # 16 David Boston

#1 Neil Rackers vs. #16 Chris Jacke

#1 Aeneas Williams vs. #16 Bertrand Berry

  • #1 Kurt Warner (103%, 62 Votes)
  • #16 Tom Tupa (0%, 1 Votes)

Total Voters: 60

  • #1 Aeneas Williams (92%, 54 Votes)
  • #16 Bertrand Berry (8%, 7 Votes)

Warner was great, but Chris Chandler came in and made a difference mid season. Buerline was a hot commodity the Cards should have stayed away from. Chandler could have taken them then where Warner just did. Get Andrew Walter to back up Leinart

  • azscott

Chris Chandler, Steve Beuerlein, Leinart, all coming up here soon in the vote. Really Andrew Walter?

Boston v. Fitz is closer than a lot of folks think. Remember David Boston is still the club single-season yardage record holder.

You make a very good point Derek. I did think the vote would be closer than it was. Clearly though overall, Fitz is better. I do wish things would have worked out better for Boston in the NFL.
