Beanie Wells Inactive Against Seahawks

Well, the news was inevitable.  Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells has been declared inactive against the Seattle Seahawks this afternoon, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

I don’t know why they bothered dragging this news out until right before the cutoff time?  Clearly with Wells not practicing much this week, we all pretty much knew he wouldn’t play.  It’s the on-going saga that I think we’ll see played out for the rest of the year.

It’s disappointing, but now Tim Hightower is going to need to step up.  I would love to see a lot of LaRod Stehpens-Howling too.  He’s an explosive guy once he hits an open hole.
