Cardinals Greg Toler Tears ACL, Out for Season

Well, that’s just about par for the course.  The Arizona Cardinals have lost another player for the season.  This time it is cornerback Greg Toler.  Toler tore his ACL and is now on the sidelines for the season.  He is the second major player to be lost for the season in just over a week.  Last week the Cards lost running back Ryan Williams for the season.

It was Orignally thought that Toler just suffered a sprain on Saturday night against the San Diego Chargers.  However, now the Cards are faced with filling a spot that was already thin to begin with. It’s a tough tear just as Toler was starting to come into his own.  Sure, he still has a lot to work on and needs to be more consistent, but now the urgency to get better just got that much greater.

What can you do though?  The Cards will just need to fill the holes with who they can and move on.  Who they move on to is a completely different question.  At this point, it seems as if the Cards will need to pick from the waiver wires over the next week.  They have no choice now.
